Last week, I attended the Telarus Anchor In sales event in Vancouver—and saying I learned a lot is an understatement. I spent the day with Tim Basa, Telarus’s new SVP of Sales and a well-known voice in the channel space, absorbing real, practical business strategies. But more than that, I met people just like us at Access Tech: teams working hard to help customers stay safe, secure, and running on the best tech out there.
The best advice I learned at the event
We talked about things like how to really listen to customers (not just wait for your turn to speak), how to be honest about pricing and timelines, and how to stand out by being yourself. We also covered smart ways to qualify leads and how to ask better questions—the kind that uncover what’s really going on behind the scenes.
How this impacts our customers and potential customers
I want to keep improving how we serve our clients. At Access Tech, we don’t just offer tech services—we help real people solve real problems. Whether it’s managing your internet lines, cleaning up email threats, implementing cybersecurity tools, or managing your technology stack, our job is to take the chaos out of IT.
Our clients, from busy transit agencies to growing businesses, don’t have time to guess what tech they need. They want someone who knows the space, shows up with a plan, and has their back from start to finish.
Ready for an IT wingman for life?
