We’re here to change that.We see ourselves as more than just a provider—we’re part of your team, dedicated to empowering your business with the tools and expertise needed to thrive. Together, we can bridge the gap between small businesses and the technology they deserve.
Who We Are
As a Certified Benefit Corporation, we’re committed to creating positive change. This certification reflects our ongoing journey to improve and serve our community.
We believe everyone should be connected. Yet, many small businesses struggle with unreliable providers, daunting cloud technologies, and critical decisions about essential services like internet, phones, and security.
With inspiration from our work with nonprofits and government agencies—particularly in the transit sector—we bring a deep understanding of what it takes to support organizations that make a difference.
We are proud to have a diverse team, representing men, women, trans, and gay individuals. Guided by clear equity and inclusion policies, we are committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Our Values:
- Integrity: We uphold standards of honesty and transparency in all our actions.
- Humility: We listen, learn, and grow alongside our clients and community.
- Kindness: We approach each interaction with empathy and respect, working together for positive outcomes.

How Did We Make a Difference in 2024
Connecting people more efficiently is at the core of what we do. This year, we guided seven rural transit agencies to technologies that would provide electronic fare payment options to their riders, making riding the bus more accessible.
Our commitment to giving back extends to our community. We actively support the Oregon Food Bank through volunteer efforts and are inspired by our founder’s personal dedication to mentoring soon-to-be-released incarcerated men, helping them develop essential skills like job interviewing to reintegrate successfully into society.
As our team grows, we continue our commitment to making the planet cleaner. Our work-from-home policy keeps cars off the road. We also provide reimbursement for other modes of transportation like bus and rail. We have added new software that continues to minimize our reliance on paper. Over ninety percent of our internal and external communication is digital.
Although we recognized less profit this year, we did grow the company by over twenty percent compared to 2023. We added seven new not-for-profit clients to our portfolio.
How We Can Do Better in 2025
We are reviewing a plan to expand our sick days to encourage our people to take care of themselves.
With a focus on transit, we are doubling down on our technology services. The more folks that we can get on buses, the more cars we can take off the road. Trey Lackey, one of our founders, is trading in his gas-powered car for an electric. These are all steps in our effort to support a sustainable planet.
Our marketing efforts continue to be focused on small and rural transit areas, helping under-resourced transit agencies modernize so more people can have reliable and safe transportation. Our plan for team volunteering activities will expand to quarterly opportunities, encouraging our team to engage and volunteer individually.
We are on track for twenty percent topline growth in 2025 and sixteen percent growth in profit.
Sustainable Development Goal for 2025:
In 2025, we will focus on Climate Action, contributing to reducing our environmental impact by increasing the use of electric vehicles and supporting sustainable transit.
Sustainability Statement
Small businesses and communities often face barriers when it comes to access to reliable technology, and many still struggle with environmental sustainability.
Access Tech focuses on connecting small businesses and rural transit agencies with sustainable technology solutions. We minimize our environmental impact by supporting remote work, reducing paper use, and actively making transportation greener.
Our efforts result in a more connected, efficient, and eco-friendly world. Small businesses and transit agencies benefit from improved technology and cost savings, while the environment benefits from reduced waste and carbon emissions.
