The FCC has finally prioritized the need for an anti-robocall injunction. In fact, the deadline is steadily approaching. What is this and how does it work? Designed to limit those “spam” calls that come through on a daily basis, illegal phone number spoofing is another part of this movement.

What does this mean for you? These calls create annoying and, sometimes, financially dangerous scenarios for businesses and personal phone users. The FCC’s mandate will ensure “that the call originates from a legitimate source.” This should assist in fewer fraudulent calls coming through on your cell phone and business phone. We have needed this to happen for over two decades. Additionally, it seems to have only gotten worse.
