Allstream Raising MRC on Basic Business Lines
For most business subscribers in the United States with an Allstream Basic Business Line, there is an impending monthly recurring charge (MRC) increase. Whether this will impact you depends on certain parameters.
If your business phone line is non-VoIP, your initial contract term has expired, and/or you are not currently in a contract, you will be affected. This rate increase will be effective November 1, 2019. Allstream has stated that only these customers will be impacted and will receive notice of the increase. If you will be impacted, that would have been received via the October 2019 statement.
Do you fall under any of these categories? Do you have any questions or concerns about how or if this will impact you in any way? If so, please contact us and we can give you more information. There are almost always other options for everyone, anywhere. Some of these options involve re-contracting, re-pricing, changing some the services currently held, and even leaving the carrier altogether. This would be a great opportunity for you to avoid any potential MRC increase for your carrier services.
As you know, phone and internet services are crucial to maintaining consistent, reliable, affordable business operations. When carriers increase their pricing, you do have alternatives that could positively impact your telecom experience and your bottom line.
